The Colorado Ski Mountaineering Cup has announced dates and locations for six randonee races in 2010, from January through April. Races will be held at Sunlight, Crested Butte, Monarch, the San Juan Mountains (the only race in the U.S. held entirely in the backcountry), and Arapahoe Basin. And though details have yet to be announced,the Five Peaks race in Breckenridge, slated for April 10, will have a whopping 10,000 feet of vertical.
